I’m Deitra, and I've been an educator for over 14 years at the college and university levels. My passion for helping others drives me to empower my clients to transform their lives and achieve their dreams through individualized coaching, group coaching, and transformative training programs. My education and experience gives me insight into the best way to help my clients. I am dedicated to my clients’ success and take that journey with them every step of the way. Clients can trust me because I hold myself accountable, just as I hold my clients accountable. This commitment is why I work closely with my clients throughout their journey. As the founder of Fabulous Coaching, Training, and Productions, I’m deeply grateful to all the wonderful people who have believed in me, encouraged me, and inspired me. Life is not without its challenges, and I have faced many throughout my life. As a young child, born and raised in Washington, D.C., I was painfully shy. Because of my shyness, I never thought I could achieve my dream of teaching and helping others. But as I grew older, I realized that my shyness had to take a backseat so I could pursue my dreams and my passion for teaching and helping others succeed by paying it forward.

My most recent challenge has been the passing of my beloved family members—my father, youngest sister, and aunt—all within eight months of each other. Despite this, I persevered. This is why I do what I do. I want to inspire my clients, encourage them to achieve their full potential, and be with them on their journey as they transform their lives and organizations to achieve the success they wish to see.

Deitra's Biography

I have always been passionate about education and have dedicated over 14 years to being an educator. In addition to teaching and advising students, I chaired several committees, including the Curriculum and Online Course Quality Control Committees. My service also extended to the Academic Integrity and Faculty Search Committees. Additionally, I advised several student organizations, such as Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) and the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society. Before my academic career, I worked in Corporate America in finance and accounting.

I have presented at numerous professional organizations, including the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) and various state chapters of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). My work, “Broken: The Harmful Effects of Workplace Bullying,” earned me the Distinguished Paper Award at the 2015 Mustang Journal International Academic Conference. I also delivered a presentation at the University of New Mexico mentoring conference titled “Enriching the Lives of Students: A Strategy that Develops and Empowers Through Mentoring.” Additionally, I presented at the Greenville SHRM Diversity Workshop on the topic “We All Matter: Embracing Diversity and Fostering an Inclusive Multicultural Workplace.”

I am now transitioning into entrepreneurship, and in July 2024, I founded Fabulous Coaching, Training, and Productions LLC. As a corporate trainer, I specialize in topics such as conflict management, emotional intelligence, workplace bullying, diversity, and more. I also work with individuals as an achievement and accountability coach. My company is designed to empower individuals and organizations to achieve their utmost potential through one-on-one coaching and transformative training programs. I am a proponent of lifelong learning and personal growth towards self-actualization, a journey I encourage for everyone. As a teacher, I have always encouraged my students to pursue their passions, and helping my clients transform into the success they wish to see is what I am passionate about. We don’t operate in a bubble, and many people are struggling today, which is why I do what I do. I want to be a part of my clients’ success journey.

I am also a motivational speaker, consultant, trainer, achievement and accountability coach, and author.
